Three award families are being designed for the foundation’s launch. Each is rooted in one chapter of the founder’s career, and each is built on the same premise: talent is distributed everywhere; opportunity is not.

I. The Altahawi Scholarship in Law
For students of law — with particular attention to international students and first-generation university students. The founder’s professional life began in the law, and this award honors the discipline that started everything: support toward tuition for students pursuing a law degree, selected on merit and need.
II. The Adamson Brothers Scholarship in Finance
For students of finance, economics, accounting, and the capital markets — named for Adamson Brothers, the investment bank the founder built and led from 1998 to 2007. The firm’s name now serves a better purpose than any tombstone advertisement: paying for the education of people who will work in the markets honestly and well.
III. The Cross-Border Scholar Award
For students studying across borders — the student from one legal system studying in another, the graduate bridging two markets, the scholar whose work refuses to stay inside one jurisdiction. The founder’s entire career has crossed borders; this award is for the students doing the same.
How the awards are planned to work
- Merit and need together. Academic record and demonstrated financial need are both weighed; neither alone is sufficient.
- Paid toward education. Awards are planned to be paid toward tuition and direct educational costs — not as unrestricted cash.
- No strings. No award will require any business relationship, employment commitment, or endorsement of any kind.
- Published criteria. Final eligibility rules, award amounts, selection process, and application dates will be published on this page before the first window opens.
